About TitleSCAN Web 2007

TitleSCAN Web 2007 is a major TitleSCAN release that includes completely rewritten server-side software based on the latest Microsoft .NET software technology.  Featuring a high-performance scalable architecture able to support enterprise-wide title searching with tightly-integrated document image retrieval, TitleSCAN Web 2007 is the most advanced title plant software solution operating today.

Release Highlights

• TitleSCAN Web 2007 rewritten as a .NET 2.0 application.
• User Activity Monitoring and Reporting now available.
• New TitleSCAN Web Suspend and Resume Feature replacing the discontinued Master Service Administrator.
• New Integrated Messaging to send messages to active users.
• Fast searches are now even faster with a variety of performance improvements.
• System Status display available.
• Multiple Color Schemes now supported.
• Extensive additions and improvements to title searching and management (see next section).

Title Searching and Management Highlights

• New Posting Manager automatically initiates and manages after-hours posting.
• New Fallout Manager automatically initiates and manages Fallout Report production.
• Data Entry Production Statistics are now available.
• All Search Alert messages now automatically displayed in a prominent message window.
• Multiple postings of the same document now displayed as a single document.
• Section/Township/Range entry and searching now supports "halves."
• Arb numbers now optionally checked for proper format and valid content.

• Order Searches now optionally search starters that are not yet posted.
• General Index now optionally searches the Assignment and Release database.
• Document Number Search now searches the General Index in addition to the Property Index.
• General Index "All Parties" Search replaced by more powerful Individual and Company choices.
• General Index now provides two alternative Soundex methods for Company Name searching.
• General Index "Alternative Company Names" feature added.
• Enhanced General Index Nickname Table replaces older table.
• General Index search of short surnames now automatically searches plural of those names.
• Name searches now exclude certain special characters and specified words.
• Grantee/Grantor Search results now in date order specified for Property Search results.
• Spaces removed from Section/Township/Range search results.
• Maximum number of properties in a single order increased to 500.
• Data entry batches can now be expanded during the data entry process.
• A Property Index Grantor Code field has been added that references the same Lender tables used by Grantees.
• Grantor and Grantee entries can be swapped with a Ctrl-R key sequence.
• The Recording Date and County can be specified for an entire batch eliminating this entry.
• The Print Batch function can now print just "Not-Located" documents.
• Batch data can now be exported as XML or in the TitleSCAN native format.
• A number of enhancements have been made to the Display All Batches and the Display Image Batches functions.
